I'm Elisa Guth. The graphic designer and small business branding specialist behind Elisa Guth Design. I create iconic logos and simple, bold design for companies in the health and fitness industry.
I believe a brand is so much more than just a logo. A brand is the foundation on which a business is built. If you build a strong foundation you will have a successful business.
I LOVE the health and fitness industry and I solely focus my energy and efforts into it. I used to be ‘all things to all people’ but now I only work with clients who make me HAPPY and who I can make happy too.
I will never lie to you and say I can help you if I don’t think we are a good match, but if I think I can change your life and business I will fight for you and help you create the business and brand that you truly deserve.
The day I started studying graphic design at Shillington College was the day my life changed forever. I didn’t know too much about design beforehand, but on that day I knew I had found something I loved.
Design is not magic. It is a combination of carefully curated elements that come together to create something intelligent, unique and memorable and I was lucky to start on the right foot with Shillington College kicking my ass into gear, showing me how important it is to strive for excellence.
Fresh out of college I was lucky enough to work for a small creative agency on a freelance basis. I fell in love with this company and did whatever I could to stay and soak up as much as I could from the creative director whose 15-20 years of experience inspired me every single day.
Even though I didn’t want to leave, I couldn’t stop the hunger to learn and the passion to experience a new working environment.
From there, I spent the next couple of years working – first, in a digital design agency and then in a boutique events agency – both completely different to my first job, and both periods of monumental personal and design growth.
The desire to live out my creative passions, on my own terms was very enticing and it’s initially what got me interested in going out on my own.
For the past two and a half years I have been working for myself. Constantly growing and developing my business into what it is today.
Why Fitness? I hear you ask.
Well, my love for fitness began at the age of 5 when I started both ballet and gymnastics. At age 11 I gave up gymnastics to focus more whole heartedly on ballet, dancing my way through school, even doing Dance as an HSC subject - movement has always been a big part of my life.
Later on, through my working career, I always stayed fit and went to the gym but 4 years ago I discovered CrossFit and that’s when my life really changed.
Early morning sessions at the gym began to replace nights out and all of a sudden my interests shifted towards CrossFit and all aspects of health and fitness.
Whilst I loved my new gym and community it was becoming quite apparent to me that design within this industry was at quite a low standard. It deeply upset me because it didn’t reflect the quality of these businesses at all and I REALLY wanted to help.
My design style is bold, iconic and memorable – with a sole focus to attract the right people to the right business. Design is a journey and I never take shortcuts to get to the end result. I love what I do and I believe it shows in the quality of work that I create for each and every one of my clients.
